Degree of Comparison
 Areused when we compare one person
or one thing with another. There are three
Degrees of comparison in English, i.e.
Positive Degree, Comparative degree
and superlative degree.
Positive Degree
 When we speak about only one person or
thing. In positive degree we only use one
noun.
Example :
She runs fast.
He is clever.
They are kind.
Comparitive degree
 When we compare two person or two
things with each other. In comparitive
degree, we use a mix of positive degree
and comparitive degree.
Example :
She runs faster than him.
He is cleverer than her.
They are kinder than them.
Superlative degree
 Comparing more than two person or
things with one another. In this degree we
use all three degree, Positive,
comparitive, and suparlative degree.
Example :
She runs the fastest.
He is the cleverest.
They are the kindest.
