Assessment overview
• In order to pass the course you will have to meet following
requirements:
- Get 70 points out of total 100
- Reach the minimum score of the Final Test (50%) = 30
out of 60 correct answers.

1. Participation (10 points)

2. Progress Tests (10 points)

during the course
• 2 tests during each course - 1 after each 3 units of
the course book
• 5 points for each test
• Number of tasks: 20
• Content: Vocabulary, Grammar and Reading
3. Speaking Portfolio (10 points)
• You will record speaking activities on MyELT
platform

4. Reflective paper (10 points)
• Writing task done in class, together with
Progess Test 2 (Day 22)
• Different forms: emails, social media posts,
letters, descriptive paragraphs, essays etc.

2 parts:
• Group Project Form - written summary of your
project
• Presentation - group presentation at the end of the
course

General topic: Innovations that will change the world.
Specific topic: Students choose an initiative from the
website www.kickstarter.com or www.Indiegogo.com
(It has to be an ongoing project).
Find and initiative that you think will change the
world from kickstarter.com. Prepare a presentation
about it. Your presentation should include:
- Description of the initiative. How does it work?
- Why do you think it will change the world?
- Convince your listeners to support this initiative.
