New Cairo Wastewater Treatment Plant


Finance, Design, Construct, Operate and Maintain a
Wastewater Treatment Plant with capacity of 250,000
m³/day in New Cairo
The project won the “Water Deal of the Year” Award

Contract Signing

The project was awarded to an Egyptian – Spanish consortium


the joint venture of ORASCOM and AQUALIA
Contract was signed in June 2009 for 20 years
The project is now under implementation.
