Need for harmonizing MDB Contracts
For many years MDBs used FIDIC as
Standard
It has been the practice to introduce
additional clauses in particular applications
These additional clauses have standard
wordings which have to be repeated for
each new project

of FIDIC construction contract 1999
This modified contract form contain the
standard wordings which have been
incorporated by MDBs in the particular
conditions
