RESULT AND DISCUSSION
RESULT AND DISCUSSION

 We will show in a figure the experiment values that

estimated by the equations of the following
researchers (Amin Riazi, Cheng, Wu and Wang)

 We will choose be the better equation to use in

terms that it has the less percentage of error
and better degree of accuracy.

Cheng equation 0.189881744 18%

Wu and Wang 0.076345794 7%

equation

• By these values and in terms to the figure we can clearly

choose Wu and Wang equation to be the better equation to
use in terms that it has the less percentage of error and
better degree of accuracy.
Conclusion
Conclusion
 This project talked about the way which particles settle in a
liquid and it called Particles settling velocity, it doesn’t matter
what the liquid is, it could be water oil or honey…etc.
 we wrote about 57 equations relating to them explaining each
one. in addition, we did calculations for three scientists (Wu
and Wang, Cheng and Amin Riazi) using their own formulas.
 program the aim of these equations is to obtain the error
percent for each equation and choose the lowest error percent,
after made our calculations we obtained that Wu and Wangs
equation is the ideal equation with 7% error however Cheng has
error with 18% and Amin Riazi error with 9%.
