COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course includes understanding of spiralling
basic science concepts and application of
science inquiry in Chemistry and Biology and
the use of teaching strategies in elementary
science, development of instructional
materials and assessment.
1. Discuss the overview of the Principles of
Teaching and Learning.

2. Illustrate the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum


Spiralling of Concepts from Grade 3-6.

3. Discuss the general pedagogies in teaching


elementary sciences.

4. Implement plans in teaching Biology and


Chemistry for elementary pupils.
