The researchers proposed assisted ventilation for evaporative cooling for greenhouse in
Gawad Kalinga, San Pedro Dalig, Batangas City. The assisted ventilation will help the
evaporative cooling system to ventilate and remove the excessive heat inside a
greenhouse.

Scope and Limitation of the Study
The focus of this study is to design a temperature varying
cooling system for crops using evaporative cooling with
assisted ventilation. This includes constant monitoring and
controlling of temperature and humidity inside the
greenhouse, and changing and varying of temperature
depending on the crops that will be planted, and solar
powered control systems for temperature and humidity
control. The study also focuses on the thermal factors that
affects the greenhouse structure.
The study is limited on the cooling system of greenhouses.
The researchers did not include the heating system, which is
controlling the temperature above 30°C.
