 The businesses in restaurants are now growing constantly.
 At the same time, the need for managing its operations & tasks arises.
 The best way to optimize these activities is growing the business online as well.
 Today’s generation encourages high-tech services especially over the Internet.
 The project “Restaurant Management System” is implemented to reduce the
manual work & enhances the accuracy of work in a restaurant.
 Restaurant Management System is Desktop Application to restaurant
management.
 Hence the project is developed proficiently to help restaurant.
 This system wake to provide service facility to restaurant & owners automate
their BILLING OPERATIONS.
 This system entirely reduces the unnecessary time waste inside the hotel as well
as it reduces unnecessary calculation.
 This project fully developed in Python language which is currently demanded in
market using Python GUI Pycharm & also we use web based framework for
Python i.e. Tdjango
 “RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”
has been proposed to be implemented to
replace the manual system.
 The main aim of this project is computerization
of all processes which happens in the
Restaurant.
 It is a database system for creating a selective
retrieved of information, for subsequent
analysis, manipulation and application.
 The existing system is manual in nature, where
they do all calculation manually large volumes of
paper work are done & stored which has the
possibility of getting up.
 Maintaining data is a tedious one and updating the
records is not an easy job in the existing system.
 If any information required then the user should
refer the files & ledgers where the details are
stored.
 Daily updating is too difficult. So the existing
system is to be changed & put for computerization.
 The study of existing system has thrown a light on
various activities involved in the organization.
 Existing system is maintained manually.
 The work done by the existing system is separate
& tedious to maintain.
 The registers are maintained separately for all the
function of the concern.
 Reports are not easily generated whenever it is
needed.
 Security is less, Lack of accuracy.
 It has been proposed to computerize the above
mentioned existing manual system.
 The computerized system gives good solution for the
above mentioned problems.
 FRONT-END TOOL : DJANGO & PYCHARM
 BACK-END TOOL : MYSQL
 This new software package has been developed
completely on menu driven basis.
 The various inputs given to the proposed system are
customer details, purchase details & sales details.
 The above information is maintained & can be
retrieved from the proposed system.
 This system has been developed to generate daily &
periodical reports.

 FOOD ITEM MODULE:
This module describes the list of food items available in the
Restaurant.
 They are of 2 types:
VEG & NON VEG
 ROOM MODULE:
This module describes the number of rooms available in the
Restaurant.
 They are of 2 types:
AC & NON AC
 CUSTOMER MODULE:
This module describes the list of details of all the Customers who are
visiting the Restaurant.
 BILLING MODULE:
This module describes the list of details of billings of all the customers
who are visiting to the Restaurant.

 REPORTS MODULE:
This module describes all the related reports of the Restaurant.
