THE DETAILED ESTIMATE
• ISSUE:
 Aggregates were programmed to be procured by Local
shopping of Goods (LSG) or to be taken from an aggregate
supplier. During implementation of the SP, supply of
aggregates is done by labor-based method .
• SOLUTION:
 During the conduct of site validation, the source of aggregate
should be fully validated and determine if the supply of
aggregate could be done by CFA (Labor-based method).

MINIMUM CONTENTS OF THE PLANS
1. ROADS
 SIZE OF DRAWING SHEETS: A3 SIZE PAPER
 CONTENTS:
 NEW ROADS:
1. Cover Page: Sub-project Title; Location as shown in the regional
map and location as shown in the Barangay Map.

2. Traverse Plan or Road Plan: The plan must be drawn in a half
rolled tracing paper on top of the half rolled cross-section paper:
3. Profile Plan - shall be drawn below the traverse and road plan.
4. Cross-section Plan– This plan shall be drawn in the cross section
paper for every 20 meters of the proposed road.
5. Plans and Details of Component Structures: Plans and details of
retaining walls, canals, cross drains, etc….
6. Computation and Tabulation of Quantities: Volumes of cut and
fill; volumes and areas of the scope of works.

For road rehabilitation/improvement proposals
that will not require survey works, schedules of
pay items and straight line diagram may be
prepared by the proponent. This should also be
drawn in the drawing sheet.

2. FOOTBRIDGES
 SIZE OF DRAWING SHEETS: 50cm x 100cm
 CONTENTS:
1. Cover Page: Sub-project Title; Location as shown in the regional map
and location as shown in the Barangay Map.
2. Bridge Plan:
 Location and elevation of bench marks with accurate descriptions of
reference points and controlling points with azimuth and distance
shall be shown.
 The direction of the centerline of the proposed FB must be
indicated.
3. Profile Plan: Centerline of the proposed FB, 40 meters upstream and 40
meters downstream.
 The profile along the centerline must be extended at a distance equivalent to
one-half of the length of the proposed FB on both sides, specifically for cable FB.
 The maximum flood level experienced, ordinary flood level and lowest flood level
should be indicated in the plan.

 SIZE OF DRAWING SHEETS: A3 SIZE PAPER
 CONTENTS:
1. Cover Page: Sub-project Title; Location as shown in the regional map and location as
shown in the Barangay Map.
2. Survey Plans and Diagrams
2.21Profile survey – This survey will determine the actual ground elevation at any required
location, based on the alignment established during the traverse survey. The result of
this type of survey will provide information on:
 difference of elevation from the source to the target area (for gravity driven system);
 difference of elevation from proposed location of reservoir to service area; and
 elevation of proposed location of tap stands

 NOTE: Both surveys results have to be drawn in Half-roll cross section paper with the
traverse plan on the upper portion and the profile survey at the lower portion . The
proposed location/station of structures and the target households to be served should
be indicated in the plan.
2.3 Schematic Diagram – a diagram showing the elevation and distances of water source,
reservoir, pipes directions, location of tap stands, and the number of target households
to be served by each tap stand.

 CONTENTS:
3. Structural plans: The structural design plans for intake
or collection tank, reservoir and tap stand.
4. Connection Details: – critical pipe connections must
be drawn to provide the details showing the support
required.
5. Skyline Details: Design plans for pipes crossing river or
stream has to be shown in the drawings.

4. COMMUNAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM
 SIZE OF DRAWING SHEETS: A3 SIZE PAPER
 CONTENTS:
1. Cover Page: Sub-project Title;
2. Location Plans: Location as shown in the regional map; Location as
shown in the Municipal Map and the Vicinity
3. Parcellary Survey Plan: This portion of the plan shows the layout of
the irrigation system in relation to the irrigable farmland
4. Traverse Plan: The plan must be drawn in a half rolled tracing paper
on top of the half rolled cross-section paper:
5. Profile Plan - shall be drawn below the traverse plan.
6. Cross-section Plan– This plan shall be drawn in the cross section
paper for every 20 meters of the proposed canal.
7. Plans and Details of Component Structures: Plans and details of
canal, intake structures, sluice and overflow gates, etc….
8. Computation Volumes of cut and fill; volumes and areas of the
scope of works.
9. Tabulation of Bill of Quantities of the Scope of Work
