INTRODUCTION

Government of Andhra Pradesh after consideration of the immediate need for

efficient infrastructure development in the Amaravati Capital City, has established
“Amravati Development Corporation Limited – ADCL for the development,
implementation, operation and management of Projects in Amravati, the new
Capital City of Andhra Pradesh with an area of 217 Sq. Km.

Government of Andhra Pradesh intends to develop various Landmark and

Landmark ‘Tourism Infrastructure Projects’ with Hospitality, Leisure, Recreation,
Adventure, Amusement & Entertainment Project Components at these sites through
Public Private Partnership Mode. Govt. of A.P. directed ADCL to initiate and
implement these Landmark and Landmark ‘Tourism Infrastructure Projects’ under
“Vijayawada-Amaravati Gateway Project” in collaboration with Vijayawada
Municipal Corporation, Water Resources Department, APTRANSCO, APSRTC and
Railways.

As part of the development of ‘Tourism Infrastructure Projects’ under “Vijayawada-Amaravati Gateway Project” at Canal-front Area,
Besides New Flyover Landing, Near VMC Office in Vijayawada City under “Vijayawada-Amaravti Gateway Project”, the ADCL intends
to develop Landmark Highrise “Family Entertainment Center (FEC) with Multi-Level Car Park (MLCP), Shopping Mall, Multiplex,
Entertainment Zone & Food Court” in About 1.50 Acres of land parcel.

PROJECT FEASIBILITY

The Riverfront Areas and Canal-front Areas located at the ‘Prime Commercial Hub and Vantage Points’ of Vijayawada City near VMC
Office are the most significant features and grand entry points for Amaravati Capital City through Vijayawada City.
It is a government proposed project in order to attract more visitors to the city and to redefine the idea of entertainment by bringing in the
idea of recreation and shopping together under one roof,

AIM

To design an urban entertainment centre at the canal front of Vijayawada City, Andhra Pradesh, to serve the city with a new cultural
platform with recreational and shopping facilities.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

Family Entertainment Center (FEC) with Multi-Level Car Park (MLCP), Shopping Mall, Multiplex, Entertainment Zone & Food Court
with a minimum of 1.00 Lakh Sft. of MLCP & 50,000 Sft. of Commercial Space with Shopping Mall, Multiplex, Entertainment Zone,
Food Court
