• -is a communication network which spans the
entire earth.
Globalization
• Is the most powerful force for change in the
world today affecting all socities in the planet.

One of the goals of globalization is for the


world to become interdependent people and
countries of the world are closely woven
together especially in the economic aspect.
Types of globalization
• Financial Globalization
-interconnection of the worlds financial system.

• Economic Globalization
- a worldwide economic system that permits
easy movement of goods,production,capital
and sources.
• Technological Globalization
- connection between nation through
technology.

• Political Globalization
- countries are attempting to adopt similar
political policies and styles of government in
order to facilitate other forms of globalization.
• Sociological Globalization
- a growing belief that we are all global citizens
and should all be held to the same standards
and the same rights.

• Cultural Globalization
- merging of the worlds culture.

- is the merging of historicaly distinct and separate
national market into huge global market place
leads to creating of global product.

• Globalization of Production
- is the sourcing of goods and services from
location of globe to take advantage of national
differences in cost and quality of factors of the
production .
Effects of globalization

- loss of domestic jobs
- large margins in wealth
- cultures blend together

• Positive Effects
- improves the flow of information technology
- improves the quality of goods and services
- greater opportunities
Labor
-is the amount of physical,mental and social
effort used to produce goods and services in
an economy.
Migration

- Is the movement by people from one place to


another with the intention of setting.
Types of migration
• Internal Migration
- is a process where migrants look for a new
residence within their own country,state or
continent.

• External Migration
- moving in a different country,state or continent
to a new residence.
• Forced Migration
-this happens when the state or authorities force
its people to migrate for a reason.

• Emigration
- is the act of permanently leaving your country to
settle in another country.

• Immigration
- Is the act of moving to a new country.
Why do people migrate ?
People migrate for a number of reasons.
The reasons and causes for migration would
normally fall under these areas:

• Environmental
- better climate,calamities, and natural disasters

• Economic
- moving to find work or moving to follow a
particular career path.
• Cultural
- Religious freedom and education.

• Political
- Civil war or escaping from political persecution.

• Social
-moving for a better quaity of life or moving closer
to a family member or a friend.
