-functions to control one’s behavior
-used to regulate the nature and amount
of activities people engage in
● Teachers giving tasks:

● Parents giving instructions:

“You need to work until

SOCIAL INTERACTION
-used to produce social relationships;
-used to develop bonds, intimacy,
