【Characteristic of EPB】
1. Facility of soil removing is smaller than Slurry Shield.
2. The digging soil can be recycled by improving it.
3. EPB is suited for the most variable kind of soil including soft ground with a low level of
solidity such as alluvial gravel mixed sand, sand, silt, and clay, diluvium deposits and
soft and hard alternating ground.
