ELIGIBILITY

• In order to quality, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• •UAE citizenship or valid UAE Residence visa;
• •Intern must be enrolled in a College/University program or provide proof that they
have been accepted in a school for the quarter/semester following the Internship;
• •The student must be in good academic and professional/personal standing.
Candidates must perform with a GPA level above 3.2;
• •Candidates should be motivated individuals, who display interest in extracurricular
activities;
• •Excellent English written and oral communication abilities and computer skills are
required. Proficiency in Arabic and other foreign languages is an asset.

Selection Process

• Selection is made without regard to considerations of ethnicity, color, religion, sex,

marital status, or handicap.
•
• It should be noted that as part of Corporate Social Responsibility, the Group
emphasizes on providing Internship opportunities to UAE Nationals.

DURATION

• Each Internship posting will be for a minimum period of 6 weeks, full time (45
hours/ per week) or part time commitment (22.5 hours/per week). In special
cases, an Internship can be arranged for any duration between 6 weeks to a year,
depending upon the needs of the function/ business and Internship requirement.

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS AND REPORT

• The interns will be required to submit an output (Presentation, Report, Paper, and
Data) on the work at the end of the internship.
• Interns will also be required to give feedback on their internship experience.

CERTIFICATE

• A certificate regarding successful completion would be issued at the end of the

internship .

• Container Corporation of India Ltd

• Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), was incorporated in March 1988

under the Companies Act, and commenced operation from November 1989 taking
over the existing network of 7 ICDs from the Indian Railways.
• From its humble beginning, it is now an undisputed market leader having the largest
network of 83 ICDs/CFSs in India (75 terminals and 8 strategic tie-ups). In addition to
providing inland transport by rail for containers, it has also expanded to cover
management of Ports, air cargo complexes and establishing cold-chain. It has and
will continue to play the role of promoting containerization in India by virtue of its
modern rail wagon fleet, customer friendly commercial practices and extensively used
Information Technology. The company developed multimodal logistics support for
India's International and Domestic containerization and trade. Though rail is the main
stay of our transportation plan, road services and also provided to cater to the need
of door-to-door services, whether in the International or Domestic .

ELIGIBILITY
• All regular students from reputed colleges recognized by UGC or approved by All
India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE).
• The internship would be available throughout the year , however , number of interns
shall not exceed 30 during the entire calendar year .
• HOW TO APPLY
• Interested Applicants may apply for internship in CONCOR at least 1 month in
advance to concerned Regional HR department
• Recommendation letter would be required from the college with the applications .
• The application would be forwarded as per the merit .
• On selection, you would be required to sign an undertaking .

Stipend

• The student will not be paid any stipend / financial benefits . Students will have to
make their own arrangements for boarding / lodging ,transportation ,stationery etc.

Period of internship
• The period of internship shall be at least 01 months but not exceeding 03 months .
