The INT-IP (INTerconnecting on IP network) board gives the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX

Enterprise CS integrated access to the IP (Internet Protocol) network

The INT-IP board allows:

•Access to IP-Phones.
•Access to multimedia PCs.
•"Voice over IP" logical links and trunk groups.
•Inter-ACT links over IP.

INT-IP boards perform voice compression/decompression and IP packet

assembly/disassembly.
The compression function is performed by DSPs located on daughterboards.

The UA 32 board
The new version of the UA32 board can be used as from R4.2, and is used to connect 32
sets and UA terminals such as:

•UA Reflexes sets, with or without an S0/V24/PC option.

•FBC attendant console.
•IBS.
•V24, S0, CTI or analog Terminal Adapters (TAs).

The eUA32 board

The eUA32 board can be used as from R5.1. It has the same basic characteristics as the
UA32 board.
However, whereas the UA32 board requires a specific license, the less costly eUA32 board
requires none, but all sets attached to it must have a license.

In other words, you can use:

Either, a UA32 board with no set licenses,
Or, an eUA32 board with a license for each set declared on the board.
The two boards are not interchangeable. The board must be declared as a UA32 or eUA32
board in management.

provides the following new features:
New long distance interfacing with 8 QCIALAs (Quadruple Subscriber Line Analog Interface Circuits).
A new common C1NV part.
New CB8 and CB26 power supplies.

The eZ32 board

The eZ32 board can be used from R5.1. It has the same basic characteristics as the Z32 board.
However, whereas the Z32 board requires a specific license, the less costly eZA32 board requires none, but
all sets attached to it must have a license.

In other words, you can use:

Either, a Z32 board with no set licenses,
Or, an eZ32 board with a license for each set declared on the board.
The two boards are not interchangeable.

The board must be declared as a Z32 or eZ32 board in management.

•New eZ32-2 board

•Replace previous board due to HW obsolescence
•Compatible with previous one within the same system/Media Gateway
•Support of Calling Party Control (called so Open Loop Disconnect)
•The CPC signal tells the phone equipment that the outside party has hung-
up, so it can stop recording to an answering machine or voice mail, drop
the call off hold, or just release a line that might be used for dictation or
announcements
•OXE R10 or upper is required

•Note: CPC (Calling Party Control) is a signal sent from most modern electronic COs to
indicate that the "Calling Party" has hung up. The CPC signal tells the phone equipment that
the outside party has hung-up, so it can stop recording to an answering machine or voice mail,
drop the call off hold, or just release a line that might be used for dictation or
announcements.

•Dual Ethernet
•Two dual Ethernet modes are available:
•Ethernet Redundancy
•Ethernet Load Balancing

•Ethernet Redundancy
•The CS-2 board supports the Ethernet redundancy feature (also called hot standby or dual Ethernet).
•Two Ethernet interfaces allow two Ethernet accesses. The two Ethernet interfaces have the same
MAC address and IP address. One interface is active, the other one is standby. When the active
interface fails, the standby interface switches to active automatically.
•For complete redundancy, each interface must be connected to a different switch unit. These
switches must be parts of a redundancy network supporting the Fast Spanning Tree standard. As in no
redundancy mode, only one IP address is used.
