    Hindu Shahi Rule | 3rd – 10th century

    Last Hindu Shahi King Bhimpala, died in a


    battle against Md. of Ghazani, in 1026.
    In the same year, Md. of Ghazani
    launched an attack on Somnath temple.

    and Punjab to Nepal.
    Nath sect also initiated a warrior ascetic movement (of

    11th – 18th Century witnesses rule by –
    Gazanavids, Ghurids, Delhi Sultanate & Mughals
    Followed by Jats, Sikh and Marathas.
    After 3rd battle of Panipat, in 1761, control went
    to Afghan Durrani.

    19th century - Maharaja Ranjit Singh conquered Punjab &
