Objective 1:
To ensure that all young visitors have an effective
educational experience AT the museum.
“Effective” means that…
• every child’s experience:
• is interactive
• includes critical-thinking/problem solving
• is supported by positive adult guidance

• every child leaves with:


• motivation/ ideas for a future profession

• Teachers/parents are equipped to:


• Connect museum learning with the outside world
• Implement interactive learning activities/ behaviors in low-resource environments
• Describe the importance and power of play
