LETTER OF APPLICATION
A letter of application is like a sales
letter. That you are going to sell to your
prospective employer is yourself, your
education, work experience skills, and
character.

It has two objectives the immediate


object which is the interview and the
ultimate objective which is the position,

- To attract the attention of the


prospective employer.

• 1st sentence - the way the writer


came to know of the job opening.
• 2nd sentence - the exact purpose of
the writer

application letter.

• 1st Sentence - Request for an interview

place, time of the interview, plus your
contact number.
