Pros- Self-generated measures ensures appropriate alignment between
the actual instructional materials being used and the materials used for
the purpose of the assessment.
Cons- It is very time consuming and difficult to ensure that the package
and probes generated in this way of equivalent difficulty.

Then here’s our off-the-shelf packages of CBM that has been develop to
help schools and teachers used CBM.
Disadvantages (Drawbacks)
Of using prepackaged set of CBM naterials is that it may be not be
necessarily represent the actual curriculum and instruction.
