 WHAT IS PUBLIC CLOUD?
■ Public Cloud is a platform that uses the standard cloud computing
model to make resources such as Virtual Machines
(VMs),applications or storage available to users remotely.
■ Public Cloud services may be free or offered through variety of
subscription or on-demand pricing schemes , including pay-per-
usage model.
PUBLIC CLOUD COMPONENTS
■ HYPERVISOR
The hypervisor is also known as Virtual Machine Monitor .
The hypervisor provides a user with a platform which is known
as Virtual Operating Platform.
■ MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
Management software consists of various plans and the
strategies which help to increase the performance of the cloud.
This management software provides many features such as on-
time delivery of storage, proper security, all-time access, and
many other facilities.
■ DEPLOYMENT SOFTWARE
Cloud deployment simply means to initiate the working of the SaaS,
PaaS, and IaaS.

■ ROUTE OF CONNECTIVITY
It is an important part of the Cloud Computing architecture,
through which the whole cloud gets connected. The speed of
transfer depends on the network which is the internet connection.
■ SERVER
A cloud server is a virtual server running in cloud computing
premises. It’s built and distributed throughout the cloud computing
platform via the internet. It can be accessed from anywhere.

■ STORAGE OF THE CLOUD

Cloud storage service, stores the digital data in logical pools .
The data in the storage is maintained , managed and backed up
and made available to users online.

locations.
 LIMITATIONS
■ Insecure Data
Public cloud is a more desirable target for hackers.
Your data could be at risk, even though the hacker was not specifically
targeting you.
■ Obstructed View
In Public cloud the visibility of the underlying process is limited .
Public cloud is not ideal for companies who need all the information
or is subject to compliance regulations to make the best decisions for
their company.
■ Generic Options
The public cloud tends to have the one size fits all approach which
may not be suitable for companies having complex architecture or
complicated application processes. Its impossible to personalise
your needs in public cloud.
■ Compliance Issues
The compliance limitations of public cloud have to do with the extent
to which public cloud systems can keep private client data secure.
