its full name, the Orion–Cygnus Arm, as well as Local Arm, Orion Bridge, and
formerly, the Local Spur and Orion Spur.
The spiral arms are formed from density waves that orbit around the Milky Way –
i.e. stars and clouds of gas clustered together.
PERSEUS constellation lies in the northern sky, next to Andromeda. It was
named after the hero Perseus in Greek mythology.
