Introducción
• CAG HTT TóxicoCorteza y estriadomotor,cognitivo,psiquiátrico
• Tetrabenazina
• Gangliósidos: Glucoesfingolípidos con ácido siálico
• Knockout gangliósidos: neurodegeneración,trastornos motores,
depresión y déficit de memoria y aprendizaje.
• HD mouse: R6/2, Q140 y YAC128
 Métodos y resultados.
• Infusion de GM1 enlentece neurodegeneración
• R6/2: Acelerado
• R6/2 GM1 VS R6/2 Placebo
• Menos atrofia, mayor peso y volumen,menos ferritina
• GM1 población astrocítica y microglía
• GFAP igual en WT y R6/2
• Spi-1: Regulador de biogénesis microglial disminuido en R6/2
• GM1 y DARPP32: regulador de dopamina. Disminuido en Q7.

• Test de comida WT demoran menos en comer, GM1 reduce tiempo de YAC128.
• GM1 disminuye open field defecation en YAC128, lo cual significa menos
ansiedad por simpatico.
