Objective
This system can be used to monitor and update weather
conditions over the internet. The system monitors 3 parameters namely
temperature, humidity and rainfall these values are then displayed on
LCD and also updated over the IoT gecko.

By readings, the user can get a fair idea of the weather of a

particular area on the monitor. This system proves to be useful for
knowing the weather of the localized area. The system is powered by
Raspberry Pi it includes a raindrop sensor, a temperature sensor, LCD
and a buzzer.

When the system detects raindrop, it shows the value of the

increase in rainfall. When the temperature increases the value gets
updated. The user can observe the weather status of a particular area
from any remote location.

Working
 Both the sensors detect the weather condition and passes the
information to the raspberry-pi 3.

 It read the data from the I/O device/sensor.

 The raspberry-pi has the feature which converts into a digital form
that can be easily understood by the user.

 The device is wifi based. So anyone nearby the device gets access to
see data with the help of the website.

 It shows the weather details in the graph format that easily

understand by the user.
Applications

 IOT weather reporting system has application to farmers as well.

The weather forecasting plays very important role in the field of
agriculture & gardening.

 IOT weather monitoring project proves really helpful for monitoring

weather at places like volcano, rain forests. It is quite difficult for a
human being to stay for longer time at such places.
