Introduction
Iranian EFL instructors express concerns about peer collaboration in
their context where student-centered pedagogies are relatively
neglected.
Learners are overly dependent on their teachers.
Writing is considered as a finished product in Iran. They assign a
central role to the writing instructor.
A case study addressed collaborative issues by integrating two
distinct peer collaboration tasks: peer review and collaborative
revision in an EFL essay writing course and explore language learners
perception of this approach.
