OE Black Belt Certification


Certification Requirements
– Dedicated BB position
(Minimum commitment 2 years)
– Training – four weeks Black Belt content
– Standardized assessment Black Belt
– Project completion of two projects with $250K business impact each within 18
months of training completion
– Official closure of each project
(attendees: sponsor, process owner, OE Council, Black Belt, and finance)
– Satisfactory completion of Tools for Certification (in the event that a given tool
does not apply to your projects, your instructor/mentor will provide an
alternate means of assessing competence in a tool or method)
– Mentor 3 GB’s on Project and through certification
– Annually mentor 2 GB’s through certification to maintain BB certification within
CCR

Commit to follow the DMAIC rigor with your mentor through project completion
