Introduction
Canteen services serve an important role in a
student’s life. Canteens are an important
educational resource that provides the
student's food that is sources of student’s
energy and stamina.

Ambiance
The ambiance of the cafeteria plays a big part in customer
satisfaction. This element is about a comfortable seating
arrangement that leaves enough space for the customer to
move, or high-quality design of the space and building, and
also the suitable music (Namkung & Jang, 2009).

This means that the school or firm understands customer's
problems and performs in their best interests as well as
giving customers individual personal attention and having a

the researcher realized that customer will evaluate the
quality of service based on the cleanliness of the restaurant
(Barber & Scarcelli, 2010).

According to Peri (2006), food quality is an essential
element that restaurants must provide to fulfill the
customer’s needs and satisfaction. Food quality is also one
of the attributes used to measure customer satisfaction in
institutional food service.

Price is a value or reward provided in exchange for need
satisfaction to the organization. According to Klassen et al.
(2005), purchase decisions made by students will consider
the price.

effectiveness of the cafeteria management does not only
reflect the quality of its food but also is reflected by the
quality of its service.
