Which new information systems, if any,
should Moore purchase? How did you arrive at
this decision? Justify your decision.
A CRM system can provide solution to Moore’s:
•Enhancing effectiveness of field representatives which will enhance the
proficiencies in multitasking, specialist care, complete tracing.
•Enablement of management of sales anticipation
•A cohesive record of all consumers from all sales channels
•An optimal salesperson scheduling instrument to upsurge reliability
between Moore’s and customers.
MMC can also go for adding bolt-on software to existing ERP system to
get the following benefits:
Bolt on software comprises demand planning system, responsible for
generating purchasing requirements centered on earlier history and
future planning activity.
Additional modules such as Deal Management system, Warehouse
transfer system and Inventory stock simulations are included, which will
reduce purchase order cost and help Moore to carry reduced inventory
with enhanced service level.
