1 John 2:12-14 (NIV)

I write to you, dear children, because your

sins have been forgiven on account of his
name.
I write to you, fathers, because you have
known him who is from the beginning. I write
to you, young men, because you have
overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear
children, because you have known the Father.

I write to you, fathers, because you have

known him who is from the beginning. I write
to you, young men, because you are strong,
and the word of God lives in you, and you
have overcome the evil one.

1 Corinthians 3:1-4
Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual
but as worldly--mere infants in Christ.
I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not
yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.
You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy
and quarreling among you, are you not
worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?
For when one says, "I follow Paul," and
another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere
men? but not yet transformed
1 John 2:14-15 (NIV)
I write to you, fathers, because you
have known him who is from the
beginning. I write to you, young
men, because you are strong, and the
word of God lives in you, and you
have overcome the evil one.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very
end of the age."
HOW TO KEEP
GROWING IN THE
LORD?
1 Corinthians 2:1-5
“When I came to you, brothers, did
not come with eloquence or superior
wisdoms as I proclaimed to you the
testimony about God. For I resolved to
know nothing while I was with you
except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I
came to you in weakness and fear, and
with much trembling. My message and
my preaching were not with wise and
persuasive words, but with a
demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so
that your faith might not rest on men’s
wisdom, but on God’s power”.
You need to be
planted in the
right local church.
Psalms 92:12 – 15
“The righteous will flourish like
a palm tree, they will grow like a
cedar of Lebanon; planted in the
house of the Lord, they will flourish
in the courts of our God. They will
still bear fruit in old age, they will
stay fresh and green, proclaiming,
“The Lord is upright; he is my Rock,
and there is no wickedness in him.”
Matthew 5:15
“Neither do people light a
lamp and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it on its
stand, and it gives light to
everyone in the house.”
Hebrews 13:17
“Obey your leaders and
submit to their authority. They
keep watch over you as men who
must give an account. Obey
them so that their work will be a
joy, not a burden, for that would
be of no advantage to you.”
Psalms 92:12 – 13
“The righteous will flourish
like a palm tree, they will grow
like a cedar of Lebanon; planted
in the house of the Lord, they

God.”

old age, they will stay fresh and
green…”

courts and from house to house,
they never stopped teaching and
proclaiming the good news that
Jesus is the Christ.”
1 Corinthians 12:3
“Therefore I tell you that no one
who is speaking by the Spirit of God
says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one
can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by
the Holy Spirit.”
1 Corinthians 2:3-5
“I came to you in weakness and fear,
and with much trembling. My message
and preaching were not with wise and
persuasive words, but with a
demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so
that your faith might not rest on men’s
wisdom, but on God’s power.”

worship in spirit and in truth.”
Acts 2:46
Everyday they continued to meet together

of Asia.

be built up until we all reach unity in ten
faith and in the faith and in the knowledge
of the Son of God and become mature,
attaining to the whole measure of the
fullness of Christ”.
