 In the K to 12 Curriculum, Science
is one of the core subjects from Grade
3 to 10 pupils. It envisions the
development of scientifically,
technologically, and environmentally
literate and productive members of
society who are critical problem
solvers, responsible stewards of
nature, innovative and creative citizens,
informed decision makers, and
effective communicators.
 Objectives of Science
1. help the Filipino children achieve
quality education through an efficient
understanding of science concepts
and principles linked with real-life
situations
2. acquire science skills, as well as
scientific attitudes and values needed
in solving everyday problems
pertaining to health and sanitation,
nutrition, the environment and
conservation.

and to uplift the performance of the pupils in
Science
• Conduct District Science Contest earlier in
preparation for division/regional level
• Additional Science activities for the next school
year
• Collaboration of all Science teachers in
preparation of power point IM’s and video clips
