 Introduction

■ The idea behind the project title is to develop a E-commerce website where the user
can view the product their description and price as well as user can buy or in case if
the user isn’t satisfied with the product then ask for refund. Whereas the Admin can
manage the inventory of the website as well as Add/update/delete the product
conveniently through admin panel and approve the refund.
 Scope of Project

■ The purpose of the Aino store is to ease the product management and to create a
convenient and easy to use application for customer, trying to buy product. The
system is based on a relational database with its product management and
customer transactions. We hope to provide a comfortable user experience
 Registration Module

■ Registration Module/Google Module: Here customer can either Register with the
website by specifying all the details or the customer can choose to sign in with
google where the google API will help the website to access the user information
 Payment Module

■ Used for managing the details of payment

■ The customer can complete the transaction by Credit/Debit card etc.
 Customer Module

■ Basically the website will allow any user to view the products and their descriptions
respectively but only the registered user’s will be able to buy the product or return
the product.
 Product Module

■ Here customer can view and buy various kinds of products and admin can
add/update/delete product as well as their categories
 Refund Module

■ Here customer can apply for refund if in case his/her product is found to be
defective. Only eligible product will get refunded via the transaction method from
which the payment has been done.

■ Purpose: The purpose of this document is to build an online system to sell all sorts
of merchandise of AINO SHOWCASE and to ease the management of all the goods
as well as transactions
■ Introduction of System:
o Proposed System:The purpose of the Aino store is to ease the product management
and to create a convenient and easy to use application for customer, trying to buy
product. The system is based on a relational database with its product management
and customer transactions. We hope to provide a comfortable user experience
■ User class and characteristics: Users of the system should be able to retrieve
product information with product images and their description. The system will have
two types of privileges, customer and admin. Customer will have access to all
products and will able to search and buy the products and admin will able to
manage the product listing. The customer should be able to do following functions:
o Search product
o Buy product
o Cancel product
The administrator should have following management facilities:
o Insert/update/delete the product
o Refund approval
■ Operating Environment:

o Database: MySQL Database
o Platform: Asp.net/c#
■ Functional Requirement:
o Access the web portal: A user should be able to access the web portal. The access
should not be restricted to registered users.
o User registration: A user, as specified in earlier section must be able to register
their credentials. They should provide their basic information about themselves for
e.g. Name, address, email, phone number.
o User Login: Given that a user is registered, the user should be able to login to the
web portal. The system should keep and maintain the user login information.
o Maintenance: The system will keep receiving new information and knowledge, and
periodically removes what are replicated and outdated.
o Orders: In order scheduled we can schedule the order for products in which we
assign the date and time.
o Report Generation: Customer report can be generated by the system.
■ Non-functional Requirements:
o Usability: The system should be easy to use and learn in every aspect. The new
users should get used to in the system fast as possible.
o Reliability: The system shall be available for use at 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The data storage shall be available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
o Error Rate: The system should provide good quality and be error free. The quality is
sufficient if there are few errors per week in first release and few errors per month
and so on.
o Scalability:
System should provide option to extend hardware and other services in future.
o Security: The system shall protect the data and services from unauthorized access.
The system shall also provide authentication and secure transaction. System should
restrict all the non-member of the project to get access to the system. The system
shall provide a mechanism of user authentication to unambiguously identify a user.
