What is Android?
• An open source operating system used in smart
phone and tablets computer.
• Android is a powerful Operating System supporting
a large number of applications in Smart Phones.
• Android is basically a piece of software which
allows your hardware to function.
• These allow you to look for information on the
web, play music & videos, check your location on a
map, take photos using your device's camera and
plenty more besides.
What is Android App?
• An Android app is a software application running on
Android platform.
• Examples:Facebook, Gmail,Messenger.etc.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE
• The purpose is to meet the challenging
requirement of modern day blood to
efficiently collect blood during
emergency.
• This system presents an alert system to
the donor about requirement of their
blood to a person in need.
IMPLEMENTATION
• Designing a application that collects information
of volunteer blood donors and alerts the donors
about requirement of blood during emergency.
• A front end user interface application design.
Creating a database of volunteers blood donor
with location, blood group, phone number etc
attributes.
• Syncing the application data with google maps to
locate the various places.
• Finding out the volunteers nearby.
Advantages of Proposed System
• Easy way to find the donors
• Less time
• No need to search blood centers and no need to wait
in queue.
• User can find their specific blood group
• User can find donors contact details
• User can communicate with donor by making call or
messaging directly.
