ABSTRACT

• The developed E-learning application comprises all forms of electronically supported

learning and teaching.
• E-learning is essentially the computer and network-enabled transfer of skills and
knowledge.
• E-learning applications and processes include Web-based learning, computer-based
learning, virtual education opportunities and digital collaboration. Content is
delivered via the Internet, intranet/extranet, audio or video tape, satellite TV, and
CD-ROM.
• The method used in the back-end and front-end design and implementation
allows flexible usage and integration of the e-learning systems by the
educational institutions in smart cities.
OBJECTIVES
1. Knowledge.
Learners must be able to recall or remember the information.
2. Comprehension.
Learners must be able to understand the information.
3. Application.
Learners must be able to use the information they have learned at the same or different contexts.
4. Analysis.
Learners must be able to analyze the information, by identifying its different components.
5. Synthesis.
Learners must be able to create something new using different chunks of the information they have
already mastered.
6. Evaluation.
Learners must be able to present opinions, justify decisions, and make judgments about the
information presented, based on previously acquired knowledge.
SCOPE

• It would help to reduce the ratio between teachers and students.

• Application of technology will help to sort out the issues related to resource crisis.
• E-learning is highly cost effective and its use will have a far-reaching positive impact
on higher edu
• You can learn new subjects, take coaching for competitive exams like NEET, JEE etc,
learn new hobbies like drawing, graphic designing. It can also reach out to people in
villages and give them quality education. cation in India.
INTRODUCTION
• E-Learning is the use of technology to enable people to learn anytime and anywhere.
E-Learning can include training, the delivery of just-in-time information and guidance
from experts.
• A learning system based on formalized teaching but with the help of electronic
resources is known as E-learning.
• E-learning can also be termed as a network enabled transfer of skills and knowledge,
and the delivery of education is made to a large number of recipients at the same or
different times. Earlier, it was not accepted wholeheartedly as it was assumed that
this system lacked the human element required in learning.
• The E-Learning course is a flexible, web-based/application-based learn-on-demand
system that allows learner and others to complete the course in a way that suits their
individual schedules.
REQUIREMENT'S
ADVANTAGES

• 1. Online Learning Accommodates Everyone’s Needs

• 2. Lectures Can Be Taken Any Number Of Times
• 3. Offers Access To Updated Content
• 4. Quick Delivery Of Lessons
• 5. Scalability
• 6. Consistency
• 7. Reduced Costs
• 8. Effectiveness
CONCLUSION
• In India, demand and supply scenario of education is unfavourable considering the
huge population base of the country. To fulfil this gap, e-learning based classroom
environment can be used in Universities, Colleges and leading Institutions. More or
less all the universities have some sort of resources that can facilitate e-learning
environment with the help of open source tools like LMS, Virtual Learning
Environments, QR Codes, Audio Response System, Lecture Capturing Software’s, e-
portfolios and shared workspaces. ‘E-learning’ being a ‘teacher-less’ delivery mode,
may be a judicious alternative option for higher education because of its cost
effectiveness, geography independent and learner centric. It garners qualitative
education atmosphere both for teachers and students. The teacher enjoys giving
lecture both domestically and internationally at the same time with advanced
technological equipment. It gives satisfaction to the teacher and on the other hand,
due to larger reach, enormous students get benefited of qualitative materials from
renowned professors and lectures.
