Random Acts of Kindness
Kindness
Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and
considerate. Affection, gentleness, warmth, concern, and care are
words that are associated with kindness. Being kind often requires
courage and strength!
Empathy
Empathy is the ability to understand
how someone else is feeling or to
understand the situation they are in.
It is the ability to “put yourself in
someone else's shoes” and to
understand the way a situation might
make them feel.

Kindness and empathy help us relate to other people and build more positive relationships
with our friends, family, and even strangers we encounter in our daily lives. Besides just
improving relationships, kindness can make us healthier by reducing our stress and anxiety.
It makes us better human beings!
