Based on law number 11 of 1967
At chapter II article 3 of law number 11 1967 about
classification and mastery of minerals mentioned that
minerals are classified in three group:

01 Group of strategic minerals

02 Group of vital minerals

Group that not included at group a

03 or group b
Explanation about minerals classification are explained at government regulations number 27 of 1980,
specifically:
1. Strategic minerals group are strategic minerals toward defense, security and the economy of the
country
