30,000 till July 2006 .
• 14049 Beneficiaries provided cash assistance.

5.23 Crore allocated in state PIP.
3.37 Crore released as I installment.

Obstetric Helpline
• A new initiative taken - Joint Venture of GoR,
Unicef, and Manglam Seva Samiti in Badi block
of Dholpur District.

• A Helpline in one block of every district to be

started soon.
• Toll Free Phones would be put up at each
Helpline (CHC)
 Issues and Concerns

• Funds released from state to every Institution

- SC/PHC/CHC/DH/Medical Colleges
• Districts asked to send fund requirements for
distributing retrospective benefits since 1.04.06.
None received.
• Capacity Building at all level to understand the
concept
SOEs/UCs do not reach in time and hence further
releases affected.
