 Red tape is a derive term for excessive
regulations of formal rules that is considered
bureaucratic and hinders for decision-making.

 It is usually applied to governments,


corporations and other large organizations.

and demand extra
money if the person
not pay then they
delay the work.
1. India to Miss Infratructure Investment Aims :-
The world's second-fastest-growing major economy
has struggled to attract long-term capital, key to
infrastructure project financing, as bureaucratic red-
tapism, a shallow bond market and faulty project
designs have thwarted overseas investors from
committing money that won't promise returns in a
decade.

2. ADB to Lend India $7.4 Billion for Infrastructure


Projects :-
India is increasingly betting on private investors to
pour in long-term capital, which has so far only
trickled into the south Asian country due to
bureaucratic red-tapism, a shallow local bond market
and due to faulty project designs.
Also considering the extensive
documentation work and red tapism in the
education and administrative system , the
court has once said to change perception of
an indian education or administrative system
where red tapism commonly known as
“sarkari kaam” or “sarkari way” of working
makes people fearful of either applying for
new institutes or filling of unnecessary
documents or look for corrupt means for
fear of rejection.
 Money is not the only reason behind red
tapism- jealousy, inefficiencies, lethargic
attitude, un-proffessional-ism, character
building, values, caste and creed and cultural
imbalance and many bore.
 But the bottom line is that it hurts us- it
slows down our growth and image in the
world map.
 Registering a company: it takes almost a
month in India, compared to just a week in
the US, or just 3 days in Singapore.

 Bribery and Corruption


 In a global index that ranks countries with the
least amont of corruption. Denmark ranks
1st.Singapore 3rd and India 94th.
 Every new scheme gets road blocks in terms of red tapism

 This red tapism has the same effect on our speed of growth
like when we try to drive a vehicle with hands-brake ON!

 It slows down our growth and image in World map.

 Jealousy, inefficiencies, unprofessional-ism, character


building values , caste n creed, …any many more likely
reasons.
This act is mainly to improve efficiency
in the delivery of government services to
the public by reducing bureaucratic red
tape and prevent graft and corruption in
government agencies and offices.

Anti red tape law punishes fixers and


violators of the act. According to section
11 of the law, penalties for offense are
there.
 In India , Prime Minister have called for
implementation of laws for reducing Red Tape-ism
in their respective domains.
 They are trimming red tape and streamlining
government bureaucracy, and also curbing
opportunities for corruption.
 At last India is looking forward to reduce the red
tape-ism issue by solving big.
