&
ITS EFFECTS
By

Instrument - Ammonia
All Radiation Are Silent Killers
Types of Radiation
There are various types of radiation ,
Alpha Very Low Radiation
Beta Low Radiation
Gamma High Radiation
X Rays Control Radiation
Neutron Very High Radiation
What is Ionizing and Non - Ionizing radiation?
Non-Ionizing radiation
Low frequency radiation.
Less energy to break molecular structure
Examples: Extremely Low Frequency (ELF)
Radio Frequency (RF) radiation

Ionizing radiation
High frequency radiation.
Enough energy to break molecular Bonds
Examples: Gamma rays , X - Rays
Cosmic rays
Neutron radiation
Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
1945, Dropped a uranium gun-type bomb ("Little Boy") on Hiroshima.
Another B-29 dropped a plutonium implosion bomb ("Fat Man") on
Nagasaki three days later. The bombs immediately devastated their
targets. Over the next two to four months, the acute effects of the
atomic bombings killed between 150,000 people in Hiroshima,
And 80,000 people in Nagasaki; roughly half of the deaths in each
city occurred on the first day. Large numbers of people continued to
die for months afterward from the effects of burns, radiation sickness,
and other injuries, compounded by illness and malnutrition.
The two bombings killed between 230,000 people,
most of whom were civilians

All Radiation Are Silent Killers
Induction Coil
Produces an electromagnetic field in a coil to transfer energy to a work piece to be heated.
Radiation & its effects.
Mobile Phone , Blue Tooth Devices , Wi-Fi Router,
5G Networks Devices
The new network generates radiofrequency radiation that can damage

DNA and lead to cancer cause

Oxidative damage that can cause premature aging
Elements of Gamma Radiation
Released from Radioisotopes of Some Example
Cobalt Cesium
Iridium Uranium
Technetium Actinium

These are Two Type

Natural Source found in all rocks and soil and even
in our food and water

Artificial sources of gamma radiation are

Fission Process in Nuclear reactors & X-Ray
Radiation Effects on Human Body

Short-Term EMF Health Effects Long-Term EMF Health Effects

 Headaches  Brain tumors
 Tingling or burning sensations  Mental illness
 Aches and pains  Cognitive and Behavioral disorders
 Decreased sperm motility  Immune disorders
 Hands hurt  Cancers – blood, breast and more
 Trouble sleeping  Mutated cells
 Fragmented DNA
 Toasted Skin Syndrome
Advantages of Radiation
Industrial Use
Medical Application
INDUSTRIAL USE
Cobalt-60 is a preferred source for the radiography of steel thickness of
about 75mm to 200 mm.

Iridium -192 is used for radiography of steel thickness of about 6mm to 75 mm.
Level / Density Measurement
Fire Alarm Detector
Smoke alarms that use radioactive material incorporated in an ionization
chamber

Source - Alpha
Medical Use
 Radiation therapy is a cancer
treatment
 Mammography,
 Computerized tomography (CT),
 Nuclear medicine (the specialty
where radioactive material is
usually injected into the patient).
 Kidneys treatment
 Eyes treatment
 Stereotactic radiosurgery
 used to treat Brain lung, liver, adrenal
and other soft tissue tumors .
Food irradiation involves exposing food to bursts of
gamma rays, X-rays or electron beams .
NORMAL LIFE – PRECAUTIONS
Turn off your Wi-Fi / Blue Tooth Devices / Cell Phones
Children Face the Highest Health Risk From Radiation
Children grow quickly, and their cells are more sensitive
Eclipse Sun, Moon Produce Harmful Rays
