SFC Programs
1. Empowerment for SFCs. Not everyone is called
to be chapter leaders in the ministry but have
leadership potentials. The programs can be
avenues for other SFCs to serve.
2. Transition service for SFCs in transition (overly
mature, single parents, young couples, etc.)
3. To continue the mission of Couples For Christ
especially since CFC has various programs

Who can be SFC Program
Coordinators?
• Unit level leaders (can be existing unit heads
given they can handle both their unit and
program assigned)
• Former Unit Heads
• Former Chapter Leaders
• Mission Volunteers
• Overly mature SFCs (age 40+)
• Single parents
• Young Couples (young couples can serve in SFC
2 years upon engagement)
Important Considerations
1. SFC Programs are to be established in
the areas depending on the need and
readiness of the area.
2. Ministry Support programs should be
present in all areas
3. In the cluster level, there is no need to
assign program coordinators.

Presence of SFC Chapter
Couple Coordinators
1. Significance of CFC leading the ministry
2. Overall pastoral responsibility to an
SFC Chapter
3. Establishes accountability especially
with SFCs in transition
4. Need for partnership between SFC
Chapter Couple Coordinators and SFC
Chapter Leaders
Appointment of SFC Chapter
Couple Coordinators
1. It is not encouraged to assign newly
wed couples as Chapter Couple
Coordinators.
2. It is also not encouraged to assign
young couples as Chapter Couple
Coordinators.
Appointment of SFC Chapter
Couple Coordinators
3. For CFC chapters with no SFC members
yet, the CFC chapter head can assign a
CFC unit head to serve as SFC Chapter
Coordinators. Members in their entire
CFC unit can help and support them
establish SFC in their chapter.
Appointment of SFC Chapter
Couple Coordinators
4. In the event that there is already presence
of SFC in the CFC chapter, it is highly
encouraged to relieve the CFC unit head of
their entire unit since they now have SFC
members to pastor. It will be difficult for
the CFC unit head to fulfill both roles as
unit head to CFC and SFC chapter couple
coordinators since both service position
will require pastoring.
