Research Methodology
This is a quantitative study as case study of Indonesian science teacher
a natural setting

Sample: 20 science teachers working voluntarily in Yogyakarta

Matterials:
1. the lesson plan to teach the topic of “the nature of matter”,
2. teaching activities recordings,
3. interview result recordings before and after the observation

Assesment: Multirater

Data Analysis: MFRM (Multi Facet Rasch Model)

Research Question:
1. What is the PCK ability level of 20 teacher participants of this research like?
2. What is the positive and negative aspects
of middle school science teachers’ PCK ability in this research sample,
especially in teaching topic of “the nature of matter “?

namely good, moderate and low teacher
