The subject-respondents
The subject respondents of the study
where the chosen Grade 12 Senior
High School students specifically for
the strand ABM, GAS and HUMSS of
Impasugong National High School in
Impasugong I District, Division of
Bukidnon. A total of 176 students
respondents who were officially
enrolled during the school year 2018-
2019 were involved in the study.

Sampling Procedure
The respondents of the study
were taken for those who were
officially enrolled during the
school year 2018-2019 and all are
enrolled as Grade 12 Senior High
school students specifically in
strands ABM,GAS and HUMSS.
Using a simple random sampling.
Significance of the Study
The purpose of this study
is to determine what kind
of teaching strategies
affects students academic
achievement and it's
significant relationship
with their academic
achievements.
The findings has a
contribution to the
following stakeholders:
Students
The Teachers
The Parents
The School Administration
The Research

• As a descriptive study, a survey questionnaire was used in the
data gathering of this present research which was composed of
three parts:
• Part I was about the socio – demographic profile of the
respondents as their strand and section , age, gender, and parents
educational attainment.
• Part II was about their academic achievement for the midterm of
the second semester such as:
• 90% and above Outstanding
• 85% – 89% Very Satisfactory
• 80% - 84% Satisfactory
• 75% - 79% Fairly Satisfactory
• Part III was composed of the questions related to the Influenced
of teachers teaching strategies to students.

Statistical Treatment
• The following statistical tools were utilized to analyze
the data in the study:
• For problem 1, percentage and frequency counts were
used to determine the profile of the respondents with
regards to their age, gender, and parents’ educational
attainment .
• For problems 2 and 3, the mean and standard deviation
were used to ascertain the extent of influence of
teachers teaching and their level of academic
achievement.
• In problem 4, the Pearson Product – Moment Correlation
was used to determine the significant relationship

and academic achievement of the respondents.
