CONTEXT

INTRODUCTION

Bo. Obrero National High School offered


ICT subjects taught from Grade 7 to Grade 10.
Only one session each week is allotted for
each grade level to have their computer class
handled by the same teacher
INTRODUCTION

The school has its own computer laboratory


but there is a limited supply of computers for
learners use. In 2013, the DepEd.
Computerization Program gives the school 42
units of computer with 8 system unit/ Central
Processing only. As of now there are 11 numbers
of PC’s because some are already malfunctioning

With 150 total number of learners from


Grade 7 to Grade 10 who took the ICT lesson.
The number of computer machine is not enough
for the holistic learning of the learners in ICT
subject. Aside from that, the computer
laboratory lacks other facilities like computers,
projector, speaker, printer and others.

Information, Technology Literacy. In the present
curriculum, the use of ICT is not in research but
also in communication is widely emphasize.
School works of teachers and learners are
mostly done with aid of computer and the
internet.

is not included in the subject of study of the
learners. With that, the school experienced
problem of lack of ICT facilities such as
computers and internet connection. With the
limited number of computers, students have
also limited learning about the nature of ICT.

1. Specify the problem such as


identifying how many computers are
malfunctioning, how many computers are
needed in order to support the number of
learners who will be using it.

2. Make an action plan as a solution to


the problem.

well as stakeholders. Ask for their support
on how to gather funds for the project.

4. Prepare the complete detail of the


papers as well as the needed
documents/project proposal to the DEPED
or COA for budget allocation.

activities.

6. Secure the collected amount until the


completion of the project. Monitor the
conditions of ICT facilities during its
operation.
