MBA-AVIATION
INTRODUCTION
Aviation, or air transport, refers to the activities surrounding
mechanical flight and the aircraft industry.
Aviation management is a course which deals with the study of
airlines, airports and business related to the aerospace
industry. This also includes supervising routine operations
undertaken by the ground staff of an airport or an organisation
in the aviation sector.

Organizes all aircraft movements in-and-out of the Hangar, fuels
and services the Aircraft.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct aircraft refueling operations and park arriving aircrafts,
Handle baggage, remove trash and perform other requests .Ensure aircraft
storage hangars are clean and perform quality assurance ,checks on fuel.

Bird Scarer
Effective bird management planning for airports and airfields is essential
to prevent or eliminate the threat of birdstrike
RESPONSIBLITIES: Detecting the birds arrival zone and preventing the stay of
birds, collecting the report of migrating birds across the airport, making noise to
scare the birds .
Aircraft Dispatcher
A flight dispatcher assists in planning flight paths, taking
into account aircraft performance and loading, enroute
winds, thunderstorm and turbulence forecasts, airspace
restrictions, and airport conditions
RESPONSIBILITIES: Producing flight plans while considering
every aspect of the flight, such as fuel, winds, weather,
maintenance issues, weight and balance, and airport delays
,Managing weather delays and routing or re-routing aircraft
as necessary,Ensuring each aircraft is properly equipped, or
that the flight planning is properly adjusted for maintenance
issues.
Aircraft Inspector
The structural integrity and serviceability of an Aircraft
must be closely inspected to ensure that the Aircraft remains
safe to operate.
RESPONSIBLITIES: Inspect an aircraft’s navigational aids,
communication equipment and air traffic controls and
supervise maintenance procedures. Develop and enforce
aircraft safety standards and regulations. Prepare and
maintain aircraft repair and inspection records.
Aviation Insurance Agent
An Aircraft is an extremely expensive piece of
equipment to own. Also the nature of flight can be
inherently dangerous, and therefore financial protection
must be put in place for any eventuality.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Building and maintaining business
relationships with clients. scheduling and attending
meetings. Discussing and assessing clients' current and

Aviation Meteorologist
The sky is an ever changing environment that is
potentially hazardous to an Aircraft and its occupants. The
Meteorologist produces the predications and reports for
dispatchers and pilots.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Recording and analysing data from
worldwide weather stations, satellites,radars .Interpreting
observations from the land, sea and upper atmosphere
Employing mathematical and physical formulae and using
computer modelling applications to help make long and
short range weather predictions
Aircraft Parts Manager
An Aircraft is a complex machine that has thousands of individual parts all
placed together to create a whole Aircraft. The Parts Manager procures, sorts,
categorizes, protects, stores and dispenses all of these parts, when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Play an important role in stores that require a regular supply of
replacement parts, such as auto dealerships, construction equipment companies
and service centers. By maintaining the right mix and level of stock, parts
managers help to ensure the efficiency and productivity of the store's service and
repair operations.
Aviation Financier
Most individuals, and a lot of companies do not have liquidity in their financial
holdings sufficient to pay for the purchase of an Aircraft. This is where an Aviation
Financier is extremely important, because he arranges for the cash from a bank or
individual investors to pay for the aircraft on the buyers behalf, and then gets the
money paid back over a long period of time.
RESPONSIBLITIES: Accurate reports require the constant input of data into
computers and ensuring that it is correct. Financial analysts use data related to
sales volume, and the costs of fuel, maintenance and repairs, as well as salaries
and other expenses.
Cartographer Avionics Technician
This person performs survey’s of the Anything electrical or computerized

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA.) This agency employs Inspectors to
make sure that operators and certificate holders are all complying with the law and
are conducting safe air operation
RESPONSIBLITIES: Ensure all practices happen within the established rules, and that
aircrafts are in compliance. Looking over the mechanics and aircraft repair facilities,
making them responsible for certification and maintenance.
Computer Analyst
Aircrafts involves in massive data , in order to collect and record the
information and feed it in the computer database.
RESPONSIBLITIES: Consult with managers to determine the role of the IT system in
an organization Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can
increase the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness .Prepare an analysis of
costs and benefits so that management can decide if information systems and
computing infrastructure upgrades are financially worthwhile.
BENIFITS IN AVIATION
Aviation provides the only rapid worldwide transportation network,
which makes it essential for global business. It generates economic
growth, creates jobs, and facilitates international trade and tourism’

The air transport industry also supported a total of 62.7 million jobs
globally. It provided 9.9 million direct jobs. 52.8 million indirect,
induced and tourism-related jobs were supported by aviation.

Aviation’s advantage over other modes of transport in terms of speed

and reliability has contributed to the market for “same-day” and “next-
