a. If a laboratory exercise is missed for a valid reason, the grade for the lab
component will be re-weighed such that the grade will be based on the other
labs. There will be no special or make-up labs.
b. If a quiz is missed for a valid reason, the grade for the quiz component will be
re-weighed such that the grade will be based on the other quizzes. There will be
no make-up quizzes.
c. If an exam is missed for a valid reason, approach the instructor for a make-up
exam.
6. Use of electronic devices. Students are not allowed to use mobile phones nor
laptops during class discussions.

These are dependent on the amount of matter or
substance.
Intensive Properties
These are independent on the amount of matter or
substance.
