2.1

Apply and communicate understanding of the importance of diversity and

difference in shaping life experiences in practice at the micro, mezzo, and macro
levels.

Be able to work with diverse populations by communicating with clients from

various ethnic groups and any other staff members who can insight.
* We work with families that has different ways of living.
* We work one-on-one with clients that needs emotional support.
* We also work within the community on a macro level.
2.2

Present themselves as learners and engage clients and constituencies as experts of

their own experience.

We deal with clients that has substance abuse issues we must engage ourselves and
give our clients the confident so they can live a better and clean lifestyle.
* Also be willing to learn something new while working with your client.
* Be understanding while working with your client.
2.3

Apply self-awareness and self-regulation to manage the influence of personal biases

and values in working with diverse clients and constituencies.

Be sensitive to the cultural norms of clients. Clients from different cultures believe
different things which may not be what we are accustomed to doing.
