The MahaDBT platform automates the DBT life-cycle, END-
TO-END
• Beneficiary Registers using Aadhaar which is verified by UIDAI
• Beneficiary creates his profile: enters data, fetches verified data from other systems, provides required documents
• Beneficiary checks his eligible schemes & submits application form.
• Beneficiary can apply for multiple schemes based on his eligibility but by filling data only once & can cancel as well.
Enroll • Beneficiary links his Aadhaar with a Bank Account

• Institution/Government Body/Department scrutinizes the application forms.

• Beneficiary’s eligibility for scheme is validated & application is approved/rejected/sent back for modification.
• Benefit Calculation is automatically done based on scheme rules and approved fee details, which is verified by
Approve departments before approval
• Once approved, beneficiary receives approval/confirmation of eligibility for scheme.

• Department consolidates list of approved beneficiaries digitally and raises online treasury bills with digital
signatures and subsequently funds are transferred to Central Account
• List of beneficiaries is sent to PFMS with requisite details using digital signature
• PFMS along with NPCI debits the Central Account and transfers the benefit amount to Beneficiary’s Aadhaar linked

• Disbursement is made to: Student (Fee- if already paid, Maintenance Allowance), Institute ( All required fees)

• Multiple dashboards have been provided to Departments/Institutes for monitoring all activities: Application
submission and scrutiny, disbursement, course approval, bill generation.
• Disbursement & use of funds is customized & monitored with the use of Online-vouchers redeemable only for said
purpose: eg: Scholarship amount used for Educational Institute
• Department validates progress / correct use of funds
