Air Compressor

● Air compressor works between two pressure limits max and min, the max pressure is set so
that when reached the compressor stop loading that is it may stop or turn in idle and the min
pressure is the one below which the compressor functions in loading mode, and the
loading time will calculated from the moment the compressor starts loading (it
depends on the pressure in the tank) and the moment the max pressure is obtained in
the tank.
● There is a pressure sensing instrument (i.e. pressure transmitter or pressure switch) located
at the discharge (usually at outlet of after cooler) of compressor which senses and give
signal to MCU for Pressure values for Loading time.
● To calculate the total running hours of air compressor, Piezo vibration sensor mounted on
to the compressor motor is used.
● The filters are to be replaced for the pre specified durations.
