Driving Down Cost

• Cost is something that every organization that is working has to bear in one way or the other.

• But whenever the market sentiments are negative then the organizations actually start to feel the real

need for cutting the costs or as we say driving down the costs.

• But the most important part of driving down costs is driving it down the right way.

Strategies for improving services
New Product Development

•Product development is the process of designing, creating and marketing new products or services to
benefit customers.

•A competitive product development strategy should include a company-wide commitment to creating

items that fulfill particular consumer needs or characteristics.

•These characteristics might include consumers' desire for the following: products that are high-quality or
low-cost; products that provide the consumer with speed or flexibility; or products that offer some other
form of differentiation that posits them a desirable purchase.

Viability of the Scheme
There are 4 schemes in the women empowerment loan, but I am taking Beauty Parlour loan as
a sample loan for explaining the viability of the loan.

Shop Self Owned: No Cost

Equipments: 2, 00,000/-
Interior Decoration: 1, 50,000/-
Assistance Personnel: 30,000/-
Miscellaneous Expenses: 20,000/-
Total Investment: 4, 00,000/-

Loan: 3, 40,000/-
IRR: 15% ROI: 8.3%
Tenure: 3 years
EMI: 11,796* 36= 4, 24,660/-
Emi for 1 month: 11,796/-

Average Earning Per Month: 1000* 30 = 30,000/-

Total Net Income: 19,000/-
This is an average calculation, in seasons of marriage this earning may very well go beyond 50,000 to 60,000 and then the
variable investment on beauty products will also be per quarter because generally the stock is purchased for 2-3 months
and therefore this project can be a great earning start for an independent woman with the help of our loan.
