HOW TO USE GOOGLE TOOLS
Google Docs :
• Students can color code their responses on the document in their groups
• Great for practicing DBQ and evaluation of historical documents

Google Sheets :
• You can have areas for each student to write their comments
• Good for learning skills and evaluating data

Benefits :
• Monitor all groups progress at once
• Identify which groups need help
• Can share documents with class after

CREATING GOOGLE FORMS
• Make sure you open for anyone to
access
• Add a picture for your topic
• Change colors
• Choose a Font
• Title the document
HOW TO ADD QUESTIONS
• Click on plus icon
• Choose what type of question: Short answer, paragraph,
Multiple choice, checkboxes, dropdown, scale, etc
• Type in your questions
• Add answer options if applicable
• Add correct answer into answer key
HOW TO ADD PICTURES & TEXT
• Click on the picture icon • Click on the Tt icon
• Add picture through: Upload, Camera, • Textbox will come up
URL, photos, google drive, or google • Put in title
image search • Add text information
• Add a title to the picture
HOW TO ADD VIDEOS
• Click on the play icon
• To ways to find video
• Input URL address
• Search Youtube
• Then select
• Add title to video
HOW TO MAKE ESCAPE ROOM
• In settings make sure you mark as quiz
• You can set it to remove grade or wait for
you to review
• Unmark respondent can see correct
answers
HOW TO MAKE LIMITS ON QUESTIONS
• Click on require so it is red
• If your question is short answer
• Click on the three dots
• Type in correct answer
• Answer can be text, number, or length
• Type is answer how it needs to be
• I make it have to be in all capitals
