U900 UE Penetration
Assuming U900 absorbs the traffic of all U900 UE, and GSM TFR is 4*3, and best GSM performance is guaranteed;
U900 capacity keeps increasing because of more 900M frequency can be used for UMTS.

Refarming will reduce the G900 frequency, in order to guarantee the G900 network quality, traffic must be
transferred from G900 to other band. There are three methods, traffic to G1800, traffic to U900, G900 TFR
feature.

IM3 impact and solution
Description:
When the frequency separation between U900
and GSM is bigger than 22.4MHz, and U900 signal
and GSM signal is in the same RF channel, due to
low IM3 performance in antenna, the IM3
interference will have big impact in the reception
which will cause high interference.
Interference to GSM reception interference to UMTS reception
Solution:
The low interference is due to low IM3 performance in the antenna, and it couldn’t solve through antenna modification.
The solution is as bellow:
In the big frequency separation scenario, it is better to choose 2T module, like RRU3929 and RRU3928.
Configure the difference signals whose frequency separation is bigger than 22.4MHz to different RF channel and
antenna channel.

Mobility management and load sharing in overlay network is always a great challenge, which has
obvious impact on KPI and QoE.
Huawei can provide complete overlay solution to guarantee the KPI and KQI
U900 continuous coverage helps to reduce handover ratio and mobility management complexity.
