HOW TO LOGIN TO THE AUCTION SITE?
STEPS:
1)Type https://auction.buyjunction.in in the address bar of your internet browser.
2) Enter your user id and password. Then click on “ENTER”.(Do not click on digital signature)
Note :- Kindly log in only through internet explorer (Version 9 and above), Mozilla Firefox. Please
ensure that Java 1.7 or above is installed in your machine. Link to check & Update java version
has been provided on the home page itself.

HOW DO YOU GENERATE YOUR NEW PASSWORD IF YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN IT?
You need to type https://auction.buyjunction.in & click on forgot password option. Enter your
User code & registered e‐mail id at buy junction site and press on enter button . A link to
regenerate new password will be sent to your email ID . You can use the link to generate a new
password.
In case of any difficulty please contact to any of the training team Numbers given in the auction
notice.

1) Once logged in, you will be asked to reset the password.
2)We strongly advice you to change the password when you will log in for the first time
(Password should be Alpha Numeric minimum 8 characters).
3)For security purpose please do not share your password with any one.

You can also change your password by clicking on the “Profile” option then “change
password”.

Process for downloading the Pre auction Documents:
You can download Auction Notice & all relevant documents to the auction from your login itself.
You need to click on the ‘Download Button’ then click on ‘Pre auction documents'. Once you
click on the ‘Pre auction documents‘ you will get the screen where all the documents will be
available. Click on the link & download all the auction documents.

ACCEPTANCE TO AUCTION TERMS:
STEPS:
1) Click on “Auction Terms.
2) Then click on “View Terms without DSC”.

3) Read the auction terms by clicking on respective entry under “Term” column.
4) Select the check box.
5) Click on Accept
6) Then click on Submit.

A message will be displayed to you mentioning acceptance to terms for the auction.

MAC ADDRESS TRACKING & VIEW LIVE AUCTION
1.Once you click on Bid(s) Live Price Confirmation Auction
2. A Pop will appear on your screen asking for your confirmation to track your MAC address.
 3.Kindly click on ‘OK’.

4. You will receive another pop. Kindly Click on the check box & Click on “Run”.

Note: Please ensure that Latest Java version (JRE) is installed in your machine .

STEPS:

1) Enter your transaction Password which would be same as your login password.

2) Click on enter button.

1) Once you click on ‘Live Price Confirmation Auction’ and after entering transaction password
the markets will be visible to you as per your eligibility.
2) Select the markets from this list where in you want to place your bid during live auction
3) Click on “ Add to Watchlist” button
Note: Incase of multiple market whenever new market will be launched you need go back to the
“Add to watchlist section” by clicking on “ Modify Watch list “ in the bidding screen or else new
markets will not be visible in your bidding screen.

WHAT IS DUTCH AUCTION?
Dutch auction is price confirmation auction wherein the bidders just have to accept the price
displayed on bidding screen.

Auction continue of multiple round of predefined time interval & price is increase at start of
each round by predefined increment. Auction end after the round which receives any bid or
continues till its upper boundary price

As soon as the first bidder accepts the price the auction closes and the round gets closed on
the predefined time and the auction will not move to the next round. After acceptance of the
price by a bidder, other bidder’s bid would be rejected because the auction has received the
bid.

Winning bidder would be able to see a “hammer” sign on his screen indicating he/she is the
winning bidder of the auction

No manual extension is possible on request of any bidder.


STEPS FOR PARTICIPATION
1) Start Bid Price would be displayed in the Start Price column .

2) By default the same start price would be reflected in the new bid column & effective bid column.

3) Bidder can only accept the price that is reflected in the new bid box. Bidder has no option to ‘+’ or ‘-’ the price

4) Select the left hand side check box.

5) Click on submit button in order to accept the start bid price

6) Incase of multiple markets submit your bid individually for each market one after the other.

STEPS FOR PARTICIPATION

7) In case no bid is received in the a round the auction moves to subsequent rounds with
predefined increase in price as mentioned on bidding screen at change price.

Similarly auction keeps on moving to next round till it reaches boundary price or if the round
receives a bid the auction closes.

Bid submission

1) If your Bid is accepted you can see Bid Accepted in the ”Result” column.
2) You can see a small hammer in the “Bid Summary Screen”, which indicate you as a leading bidder in
that market. Once your bid get accepted the current market price will start visible in your bid summary
screen below the “Current MKT Price”
Note:
• The auction will end at the completion of the that round when any of the bidder accepts the price and
submits it.
• Once any bid is received all bidders can see “Yes” under “Bid received” column.

BID REJECTION:

• Once any bid is received for the auction & any bidder tries to submit their bid the bid will be
rejected and appropriate message will be displayed to bidder on bidding screen

VIEW OF LAST AUTO REFRESH TIME & MANUAL REFRESH BUTTON :

Bid Summary screen of bidding screen is refreshed automatically in every 20 sec to display the
latest status of the auction, however the refresh rate may vary depending upon the internet
connection speed of your ISP/computer. In case any bidder observe any lag in auto refresh
interval, they are suggested to manually refresh the bid summary screen using the “Refresh”
button to view the latest status of the auction.

Note:
Bidders can also view last refresh time in the bid summary screen.
AMOUNT IN WORD DISPLAY OF START BID, NEW BID, EFFECTIVE BID.
Bidder now would be able to view Start bid, New Bid & Effective Bid in word by pointing

their curser on respective fields.

THINGS TO REMEMBER…

1.‘Time Remaining’ shows the time left for round to end in the Bid Summary Screen.

2.‘Number of LIVE Markets' indicate the product for which auctions are live.(i,e How many markets
or how many auctions are running live.)

3.For any queries during live auction, please call ‘Auction Room Phone Numbers’
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PRICE BREAK UP AFTER AUCTION:

• After the competition of the auction incase you are L1 / have matched the L1price or
as applicable and stated the RFQ /Auction notice, you have to submit the item wise
price break up in the format as stated in the Auction notice (Annexure-4)or RFQ.

• The price break up has to on the price basis quoted during the online event as the
case may be ( eg. LCNC, LCNV, etc)

• For any clarification related to taxes applicable, clarify prior to start of auction.

• All the price break up have to be sent to company letterhead signed & stamped by
authorized signatory of your company.

• You may send the price break by Scanned copy through mail at the following email
address: postauctionbj@mjunction.in
• You may also send the same vide fax to our number 033-66011725.

• Price break up has to submit within 2 hrs from the time of completion of the event.

How to register your query/suggestion/feedback/complain in the cchp:

1)Bidders can register their query/suggestion/feedback/complain through "Feedback" link provided on the
Menu bar or send email at feedback.bj@mjunction.in
2)Steps: Click on Feedback option->Click on New->Write your comments in the Description box & Submit.
